A word from Deon Smith

Deon has been involved in manufacturing, marketing and sales of communications products for more than 25 years, and has an in depth understanding of the products and needs in the communications industry. Many senior positions was held by Deon during this time and he has cut his teeth in the manufacturing industry. It is therefore a very good mix of experience to have, to be able to run the business successfully. Deon says:

"It is my vision to build a successful business in the communications industry. We are
focused on quality, service and pricing. I believe that if one gets these three things right, this is a winning recipe.

I feel that most large organisations today have lost contact with the small customer out there. They have become very impersonal in the way they deal with customers, and are only focused on profit. Therefore we try to give good service to the customers we already have, and we will only take orders from new customers if we know that we can give good service to that specific customer, and supply orders flawlessly and on time, all the time. The customer is not necessarily always right, but the customer is king, and he is paying for that privilege.

Most of the improvements made so far to the range of products that we supply and manufacture are the result of listening to the customer and understanding his needs. When customers point out small issues that they may have with existing products, this leads to product improvements that address these issues, and all customers benefit from this. And not only do we listen to what the customer wants, but we actively examine all our products on a rotating basis to see what and where we can improve, and how we can give our products even more of an edge on competing brands and models. This, too, results in the customer getting the best buy.

My active involvement with the business on a day to day basis has given me a good feel for what is happening on the production floor as well as what the customers require, and because the operators on the manufacturing floor know that I am involved personally, this concept is in their faces every day, and as a result the whole company is absolutely customer focused. Our company slogan is "SIMPLY THE BEST" - which says it all in a nutshell.
